Gemmy, glassy, and lustrous, this is a classic, modern, attractive medium sky-blue Pakistani Aquamarine crystal. It features a total gem top third that you can read through and a turbid bottom two-thirds for added character. It is actually composed of one main, robust crystal that is prominent from the display front, and then a subtle, partial crystal in tight, parallel growth on the backside. Both exhibit small, but perceptible, pyramid faces at their lovely and perfect, flat, pinacoid terminations. There are even faintly developed, second-order prism faces on the main crystal for added interest. The Aqua must have been a product of pegmatite pocket rupture and was separated from the matrix yet completely rehealed. There are two, small, partial crystals of off-white Albite at the base. This handsome crystal has a mass of 112.9 grams. It came to use with a 3D-printed black base, we include for free here as it came with the piece to begin with from a previous collection.
