Although every year Pakistan produces a variety of new aquamarine specimens, this one seemed to us something special when we saw a video from the mine, from a pocket with intimate association with these porcelain-white, sharp, carved-looking white feldspar crystals. The piece ended up trimming down to produce this 360-degree, balanced, really aesthetic small cabinet specimen with a 7 cm aquamarine that impales a sharp feldspar crystal. The aquamarine goes all the way through to the bottom. The top portion, which is 100% GEM and transparent, stands up just over 4 cm tall, proud and vertical, adorned at the base by a small wreath of sparkling silver mica. Tiny inclusions (perhaps also of mica but perhaps another mineral) float inside, which actually help give some visual definition to the otherwise transparent crystal. It is just a very proportionate mineral specimen, and displays the gem crystal in such a way that it looks created, if that makes sense to say. The aquamarine is perfect, without repair or damage.
