A very fine and beautiful example of the rare mineral species Agardite from the Christiana Mine, this miniature was found in 2017 and should be one of the richest examples for crystal size and color overall. The metallic and delicate 1 cm needles of this rare, hydrated REE-Cu-arsenate create an attractive, expansive fan across across the pocket. With such a vivid color and high luster, the contrasts in form and appearance between the Agardite and the dark matrix make for a very appealing aesthetic and something more than just a "rare species" in a collection. Collected in 2017.
