Fine Rhodochrosite thumbnail from the famous N'Chwaning Mine. This piece is dominated by a single, complex scalenohedron (with a sharp sidecar) that has a rich, cherry-red color and excellent luster. As is often the case with soft minerals, there is a small amount of edgewear on the very tip, but it is minor. The aesthetics are quite good, and it is better in person.
