A brilliant cherry red rhodochrosite from the famous finds of 1978-1982 (approx.), is the stuff of dreams today. This piece has the shocking color, combined with the shocking luster like glass AND a translucency that you seldom see. Featuring crystals to 1.6 cm, in a tight cluster on manganese matrix. It is simply a gorgeous miniature of one of the most famous mineral finds ever.
