- Rare Triplites from Pakistan

- Unusual Canadian Talc Crystals
- Nov 10, 2015 - Although talc is actually quite common and mined by the ton in some places, crystallized talc such as these green minerals have been exceptionally rare.
- Bi-Color Beryls from Pakistan
- Dec 20, 2015 - We have seen many folks assume they are tourmaline at a first glance, despite the sharp hexagonal beryl shape, because we are conditioned to think of large multicolored gem crystals as tourmalines based on experience. Such beryls are very rare from any area of the world.
- Rough Crystal and Cut Gemstone Combinations
- Nov. 19, 2015 - There's no arguing the beauty of crystals or gemstones... and this time, we're pairing a selection of new pieces as combinations providing examples of BOTH crystals and cut stones.

- Yellow Fluorites from Annaberg, Germany
- First appearing to market at Munich in 2015, these yellow fluorites from Annaberg, Germany (an old silver district) rekindle hope that future mining efforts could result in more fine minerals from this region.
- Blue Langite Specimens
- July 8, 2015 - Langite is a very rare species normally, known in good specimens from only a few localities. This recent find (2013) from an old classic locale, took us by surprise. They are large, showy, and frankly inexpensive for what they are. The color is a breathtaking blue-green hue in person and photos simply do not convey the sparkling nature of the crystals.
- Azurites-Beautiful Milpillas Finds
- Milpillas is now the world’s finest and most productive source ever of Azurite, without a doubt. We have pursued this mine since its first trickle of material in 2007, and continue to have a strong buying presence there.

- Chinese Scheelites and Barytes
- Jan 21, 2015 - An update of beautiful and unusual new China finds: scheelites from a new find at the most famous mine in China, which although mined economically for tungsten has produced few good scheelites and two-toned barite crystals from Jiangxi.
- Blue Plumbogummites from China
- Jan 19, 2015 - Rich blue plumbogummites are historically quite rare. Chinese mines have been producing these beautiful specimens recently using artisanal mining methods.
- Chinese Purple and Green Combo Fluorites
- Fluorite on fluorite, showing a contrast of color and form that is simply unexpected, from an old commercial fluorspar mine in China. However, over many years of mining here, nobody had EVER seen anything like these pockets of curved purple crystals atop either massive or crystallized green fluorite matrix.
- Vivid Green Demantoids
- These deep green demantoid crystals reach 4 cm in size and seem to be the only species in their pockets. The best of them look like green disco balls. These appear to be artisanally mined by a few small groups of collectors.
- Alkali-Rich Beryls
July 13, 2014 - Alkali-rich beryls are an unusual beryl variety with strange morphology, found only a few other places. This update presents a significant amount of the high-graded material from the pocket found in mid-2012, which is the first reported find of this beryl in Pakistan. The specimens are truly unique, and fascinating crystals!
- Peruvian Native Arsenic Specimens
- Nov. 9, 2014 - From a large but highly unusual find of pure arsenic in this historic mine, found in summer of 2013. Although we have seen many specimens from this mine, including fine orpiment, I had not previously seen pure native arsenic.
