The Walking Stick Mine in Zimbabwe produced a unique set of heliodor crystals in the 1970s-1980s, which slowly trickled to market. This has the classic shape of those, with a tapered termination you see more often in aquamarine than in heliodor; although it is highly unusual for color with a straw-yellow hue and no gemminess, more typical of the location. It is a fine, complete crystal, even if not gemmy; and from this rare locale. 14.5 grams.
