A beautiful, very aesthetic, large cabinet cluster of three, intergrown, graduated size amethyst "flowers" from recent finds at Irai, Brazil. The amethyst "petals" are glassy and lustrous, with purple cores and near-colorless tips. Amazingly, this striking piece is nearly pristine. The matrix crust and amethyst flowers are curved. Outstanding, large material from this find and locale from the Bruce Carter Collection.
