Just a really nice amethyst specimen from this region famous for big tonnage of amethyst cathedrals but how often do you see a smaller specimen, up to par with specimen quality and not merely a deco rock, from this productive locality? It is just a good amethyst from somewhere that we usually ignore as providing anything more than decorator pieces in this regard. Ex.
