This large, robust crystal is 51 grams of deep, saturated rich blue color. It is from the high mountain deposits of Nepal, and has a few characteristics that make it differ from Pakistan Aquamarines, aside from rarity. The color is a deep "steel blue" with a saturation uncommon form other location, although similar to the best Vietnamese material. Also, this has a characteristic tip with unusual growth patterns we often saw in Nepalese material particularly from finds of the 1980s-1990s. It is complete all around! In person, the color on this should leap out as more saturated if standing next to typical Brazilian or Pakistani aquamarines, and that is what makes these most desirable, although specimens of this size and mass are uncommon.
