Large Vietnam aquamarines of the style with intense color are few and far between, as most tend to be smaller to begin with, or later broken in handling. This is a huge, doubly-terminated crystal with astonishing saturated color, quite unlike the usual color you expect in a beryl. It is a supercharged blue, hard to convey in photos, but it leaps out in person. The crystal is complete, without repair, and a floater that is terminate at both ends. It has minute "etching patterns" that are mesmerizing in detail, similar to what you see on Ukrainian heliodors.
