A stunning, metallic pyrite with literally the best luster we have ever seen on a Peruvian pyrite. Rimmed with sphalerite for a unique accent — not too much, nor too little; this is a dramatic large miniature (or smallish small cabinet size, to be technical) of competitive quality. It has to be seen in-person to be believed — it is NOT like others you might know and see. This fine miniature is from a single pocket found years ago (2017?) and was in the multigenerational family collection of major Peruvian dealers Elmer Ramos and his son, heir to the dealership, Bruce Ramos. This is a masterpiece of a pyrite worthy of the finest collections of minerals in this size — it is not "just another" Peruvian pyrite.
