This specimen is a bit unusual for Peru, in that the crystals are so sharp and clustered, they look more like the shape of Spanish material at first glance. However, the luster, the color… it is classic Peruvian! It is a balanced large miniature with, unusually, a pedestal of matrix holding up the cluster of sharp cubes. In person, as you look closely, there is mesmerizing subtle detail everywhere. It is complete all around. This is from the personal collection of the Ramos family, well known Peruvian mineral dealers.
