The Tongshankou deposit is a porphyry/skarn-type Cu-Mo deposit and this is a recently recovered iridescent Pyrite from the associated mine there. This resplendent piece is largely covered in sparkling, finely crystalline, nearly botryoidal Pyrite shimmering from a metallic yellow-green to green to reddish on a matrix of off-white to gray-white subhedral Calcite for colorful and textural contrast. This is certainly unique from the deposit and exceptionally attractive! The Pyrite and Calcite are deposited on further contrasting, red, Hematite stained matrix for ultimate effect. The piece is sparkly in a way that is hard to convey by photo, but will be among the brightest and shiniest minerals in your case.
