Classic color and shape, gemminess, and luster make this a very visually appealing, pretty specimen of Elmwood calcite from the 1980s-90s glory years here. Sharp calcites to 10 or 11 cm dominate the skyline, accented by a crossbar twinned crystal at their base for a nice bit of aesthetic accent. It is complete all around, save only a few very very trivial dings or small cleaves we have not bothered to restore in a modern lab as they are trivial, and so considering the size and 3-dimensionality is essentially near pristine. 360 degrees, complete all around. We obtained this and others here long ago from the long held private estate collection of Houston dealers Consie and Dalton Prince, who sold so much of this material in the 1980s-90s.
