On a shelf, this glasslike calcite leaps out to the eye. This sharp, 3-dimensional, stunningly bright cluster of calcites is one that Rob personally owned long ago when they came out in the early 2000s (and at the time, the luster and shape was so bright and sharp, that many came to market labelled as quartz!). It made its way around the market again and we bought it back for resale, as it is so impressive and memorable. In the size class, there are few clusters of these crystals, and fewer still that are 3-dimensional as opposed to simply two crystals in parallel. It is simply better in person - but truly memorable, perhaps, is the way to describe it. It is just different from others. Ex. Rob Lavinsky China collection.
