This specimen has crystals to 6mm, arranged in a horizontal seam running through the manganese matrix. Many are intact and complete, though those at the periphery of the protected seam are damaged. Still, its a colorful, rich, and extremely showy example of rhodochrosite from this famous mine, and quite good as a locality representation for any rhodo suite.
