This choice little miniature features sugary rhodochrosite scalenohedra perched elegantly like a rosette on a small amount of matrix. While the crystals are not gemmy, compared to modern NChwaning material, they offer a decidedly rose coloration which is very attractive anyhow. More importantly, these crystals are from THE important old European locality for the species! Such specimens, in this quality, are exceedingly hard to obtain today and most likely date to 150-200 or more years old! 3.2 x 2.5 x 1.6 cm
