The Sounion #6 Mine, located within the venerable and historic Lavrion District, is noted for its Malachite pseudomorphs. Here, the Malachites spheres, up to 1.8 cm across, have completely replaced Azurite. The deep-green color, textured surfaces, and overall form are aesthetic for this borderline large thumbnail / small miniature that was found in 2020.
