SOLD

Here is a large display-sized and geometric plate of very appealing medium blue-green Amazonite crystals from the Jack Rabbit claim in Colorado. This is a special and notable pocket from 1982, collected by Rock Currier and Bob Bartsch, and known for the startling quality of the plates recovered which were intact and did not need to be put together again like a jigsaw puzzle. Plates of this size, with no repairs, are awfully rare! It is a classic display specimen of the material containing dozens of medium blue-green, semi-lustrous crystals to 4 cm that completely cover the display face of this large cabinet specimen. All of the crystals are in excellent condition except a few on one end that have been cleaved cleany and reveal the cream colored Microcline cores and the Amazonite rims! A note on the back of Rock's label indicates the specimen was collected with Bob Bartsch in the summer of 1982.
