Wulfenite
Silver Bill Mine, Gleeson, Cochise Co., Arizona, USA
Small Cabinet, 6.8 x 5.1 x 3.1 cm
Ex. Robert E. Reynolds
SOLD

A windowpane crystal of wulfenite, 1.5 cm across, is the obvious highlight of this fantastic Arizona locality piece. It is a shocking contrast to the matrix. It is perched securely, smartly in the middle of a well trimmed matrix. I would not be surprised if Bob Reynolds collected his himself on one of his frequent expeditions underground with friends over the decades he was active. This was part of his large, important suite of location wulfenites which we obtained when we purchased his collection in 2019. It is unique in our experience, and we can trust him for accurate mine location as well (Bob was a highly experienced field collector, and also the curator of the San Bernardino County Museum in California). NOTE: hand delivery only, please. This is relatively robust and can be handled, but I would not want to risk shipment.
