A gleaming, orange, Arsenian Pyromorphite miniature from the Bunker Hill Mine with a candy-like, almost wet-looking luster. It is a superb piece composed of bright orange, spherical aggregates that just glisten in any incident light. These stunning orange clusters give way to smaller, more greenish yellow Pyromorphite on the lower right of the specimen. The spheres range in size from about 3 mm to 1.7 cm at the largest one that is perched right atop the piece dramatically. It sits perfectly on its own and is well composed and well balanced for ultimate presentation! The orange color is attributed to more arsenic incorporated into the crystal structure during growth. These rounded crystals are in pristine condition, and the overall form of this miniature is quite attractive and three-dimensional as well. From a major find of the early 1990s, these remain distinct today from anything else, worldwide. This is as fine a miniature as you can ask for.
