Pyromorphites with the super-lustrous 'wet-look' are among the greatest of Pyromorphites, and are commensurately highly desired. These yellow-green crystals are pristine, with excellent terminations and stepped faces. Some terminations are partially hoppered, while others have a sharp yellow coating. The largest of the crystals is an impressive 2 cm long, and the v-shape of the cluster is balanced and attractive. Formerly part of Marty Zinn's collection, as well, until it sold in 2003. The quality and aesthetics are superb for this classic miniature with "meaty" crystals, from the mid-1990s find here. No material has come out of this mine since. In fact, it is a toxic superfund site, closed to activity.
