Milarite is a rare hydrated potassium-calcium-aluminum-beryllium silicate that is found in select granitic pegmatites. While the best-known milarites come from both Brazil and the Alps, this pegmatite combination specimen is from New Hampshire! There is a 8 mm clear white milarite crystal laying on pale amazonite and smoky quartz. A startling, rare thumbnail specimen from the important East Coast suite of the Flynn collection.
