Gwindel smoky quartz is an alpine classic from the mountains of both Switzerland and from France, but the French pieces are probably a bit more uncommon. Regardless of origin, this is a fine gwindel showing the dramatic and unique crystal shape of a gwindel (twisted) quartz, a fine smoky color, remarkable gemminess, and transparency. It is also complete all around 360 degrees! This crystal is 9 cm tip to tip, complete and without repair.
