A sharp crystal of this rare species, with a bit of attached feldspar matrix, makes this a classic and highly representative example from a famous Brazilian locality. The crystal is 1.3 cm tall. Something I never realized but just learned from MINDAT vs Wikipedia online: Milarite is 'a rare beryl' according to Wikipedia, although I do not believe it is true and it might say it can be confused with beryl due to the shape. MINDAT specifically says: "May be confused with beryl and apatite."
