This is a really strange crystal of muscovite from a famous find some decades ago. I have only seen a few of them over the years, and they seem securely ensconced in East Coast collections now. Just a mesmerizing crystal, for any species... and probably one of the few mica crystals I would ever think worthy of a worldwide competitive thumbnail species case!
