Here is another unusual tri-color pink Elbaite Tourmaline slice from the core of a crystal that displays three fairly distinct internal zones with a nondescript exterior that initially hid the beauty inside. There is a diffuse, raspberry pink core on the display side interior that is very roughly triangular in shape that is surrounded by a 6 mm thick, magenta pink zone which is then outlined by a relatively sharp, 1.5 mm thick pink band and then a 2 mm gray-pink band. The Tourmaline slice is nicely polished on both sides and has a gray, fine-grained Muscovite exterior. This little beauty has a mass of 10.45 grams.
