The termination of this gem, sharp crystal is steeply formed, and looks for all the world like a classic 1960s Maine tourmaline at first glance. However, it is from the stunning new discoveries in Goma. Glassy and gemmy, this elbaite crystal exhibits a strong evergreen-, vibrant-green color almost to the base of the of the specimen- highly unusual for this material. The mass is 36.9 grams.
