Excellent, gemmy crystal of Andalusite from a less seen but well-known location in Brazil that has intermittently produced some exceptional pegmatite species. The crystal is gemmy through and through and cuttable for gems! The color is a lovely and pure amber yellow when lit. 34.54 ct. This is one of the ultimate rarities of gem thumbnails and rare species that yield gem rough on freak occasions. ex Bill Larson collection by an exchange.
