These pleasing pink rhodochrosite crystals are from finds just prior to COVID turning things upside down and slowing mining efforts and recovery, from a locality best known as a tungsten deposit. Several dozen tabby crystals feature a rich salmon pink center, "sandwiched" by lighter pink exteriors, concentrated along the top of the specimen like a pink mountain ridge. The crystals are a soft hexagonal shape, mostly undamaged, on a druze of blush-pink rhodochrosite. Small, brassy chalcopyrites mingle amongst the druze on the front and sparkly on the back as well, all on a quartz matrix. A gorgeous specimen of a very unusual style for the species!
