This miniature features a beautiful, gemmy to translucent, highly lustrous, 4.1 cm Fluorapatite crystal on matrix accompanied by several smaller crystals and crystal sections. This glassy, yellow-green crystal is the classic color for these Fluorapatite specimens from the Cerro de Mercado iron mine. The crystal is dominated by prism faces and nicely terminated on one end making this a great display piece! The other end of the crystal is contacted. A showy and highly representative small cabinet matrix miniature from a classic Mexican locale. Matrix specimens are uncommon!
