The GEM Fluorapatite crystals from Myanmar are unique and still rank among the best of species almost 2 decades later. These apatites have a very distinct denim blue color, and this 3-cm-tall example is one of the longer found from the relatively small deposits in Mogok Valley, from a few finds in the late 90s or very early 2000s. Now, they only turn up in older collections. This was previously in the Martin Zinn collection (sold 2003) before the Flynn collection.
