Intergrown rhombohedrons of glassy and gemmy, colorless calcite exhibit a tiny dusting of subtle color - a preferential coating of hematite, thus giving the whole specimen a beautiful pinkish glow when backlit. The specimen is a CLASSIC style for Tsumeb and very fine for its size. It is in great shape, save for 2 tiny shallow cleaves to two crystals in the right-center area, only noticeable up close. This is an old classic, but unlike most that are either clear or very red/brown, this has only a slight hint of coloration.
