This is from the "Red Gem pocket" in 2001-2002, and has to be the best thumbnail I can recall seeing from the find. It was self collected by one of the miners working the project for a dealership, and put in his lifelong thumbnail collection at the time. Two, tabular, "windowpane" wulfenite crystals perched aesthetically on a bit of matrix, are glassy and gemmy, with a reddish orange color. The larger of the crystals measures 1.6 cm across. A beautiful thumbnail that is, because of its rich color and sculptural geometry on matrix, one of the very few Red Cloud thumbnails I would elevate to saying it belongs in a world class thumbnail collection or exhibit. Stunning form and color (more red than orange, but difficult to convey in the photos).
