Wreathed by drusy, colorless quartz, and tiny crystals of what look like (but are not) beta quartz is a superb, lustrous and translucent/transparent, rich emerald green fluorite octahedron, measuring 3.8 cm on an edge. The fluorite crystal is more sharply crystallized than most Riemvasmaak fluorites. Contacted on the bottom, but complete all around otherwise. Sitting flat as shown, or tilted up at an angle, it makes a dramatic display piece - it looks like a pyramid rising in the desert.
