This large plate of Fluorite from Okorusu has great luster and shows phantoms of both medium and dark purple. It exhibits excellent contrast of the colors with super sharp phantoms in all of the crystals. Most of the Fluorites, of which there are dozens of crystals, show a bright, medium purple, translucent cubic phantom in the center that is oriented 90 degrees to both the outer, dark purple phantom and the nearly colorless exterior. The crystals have sharp edges and faces with only minor stepped growth. The entire piece is translucent, letting light in from the bottom as there is no matrix beneath since this grew as a crust on its substrate and was subsequently removed with no material attached. It glows with only a minor amount of backlighting! There is essentially no damage on the piece save just a few tiny nicks at the periphery of the piece. A stunning piece!
