A SHOWY and EXCELLENT smoky quartz gwindel from a NEW FIND and LOCALITY in Bahia, Brazil - Ceara. The gwindel is water-clear, highly lustrous and has classic and typical twist. The body of the gwindel is essentially pristine. One set of terminations is in excellent condition, with only the slightest bruising. There is contacting on the other set of terminations, but certainly not too detracting, as you can see. The gwindel is nicely set on quartz matrix. An excellent representation of the species and NOT from the Alps or Urals.
