A beautiful and aesthetic mounded cluster of super gemmy and lustrous rose quartz crystals from the Lavra da Ilha pegmatite of Brazil. For its size, the crystal quality is superb. This gorgeous piece is from 1960s-1970s finds at this renowned pegmatite, located on an island in the Jequitinhonha River, Minas Gerais. The pegmatite could only be mined when water levels were low. Very seldom available in this quality. Ex. Jaime Bird Collection.
