Irai has produced various types of calcite specimen sporadically over many years. What is wonderful is the great variety you see. This one a single, wonderful large compound crystal, with a pebbly surface and creamy translucency. It sticks up from a matrix that has the usual copper-mineral green tones, but also a hint of purple amethyst crystals and these two colors add beauty to the specimen.
