An OLD-TIME Austrian specimen of a 1.5 cm, glassy and gemmy, complex, light green emerald crystal nicely set on mica schist matrix. This showy piece is from the famous Habach Valley and comes from an old European collection, where everything dates to the 1800s. This whole collection had myriad old materials, though I cannot name the owner, and was well known in Europe. Accompanied by an old, handwritten German label with an 1874 date!
