Thumbnails

For our little collectors out there - explore a gallery of beautiful thumbnail fine minerals brought to you by The Arkenstone. Thumbnail specimens from across the globe are represented at a variety of price points. While there are many different ways that collectors choose to specialize, many collectors are drawn to the perfect crystal shapes found in these small, delicate specimens.

In 2014, The Dallas Mineral Collecting Symposium featured a lecture by Dr. James Houran, notable psychologist and thumbnail collector, who shared his viewpoint on why these little crystals are such a fun and challenging way to focus a collection.
