Growing on and around a cluster of splendent, black schorls to 1.8 cm across, are glassy and gemmy, rich blue aquas to 4.1 cm in length. The largest aqua is also doubly terminated. All the aqua terminations are transparent and although some have very minor chips on the terminal edges, you have to look really close to see them. Unusual in the dramatic combination, and the way the aquas shoot out from the schorl matrix.
