This is a competition quality miniature because it features two excellent examples of species that are almost never found together, especially in Brazil. The schorl crystals are well formed and lustrous with the largest crystal measuring 3.75 cm in length. Growing on the left side of the large schorl are two rosettes, each composed of several splendent, twinned, cassiterite crystals to 1.25 across. For color contrast there, are even a few ivory colored blades of albite. For what this is, it is truly exceptional!
