This is a classic specimen of lustrous, adamantine cerussite crystals, showing the reticulated twinning pattern that makes them so mesmerizing when at their best from Tsumeb. It is an old specimen and a fine miniature for the style and size class! It was purchased by Willy Israel (a well known Belgian collector) from Clive Queit in 1986, and then sold by us sometime in the mid-2000s (we purchased that collection with Doug Wallace at the time), and retains Willy's label. As the mineral is soft, few have no damage. This is pristine save for a few minor dings, you have to look close to see. Specimens with this clarity and luster are quite hard to come by and it is gorgeous in good light, with reflections shooting everywhere.
