A small pocket of these interesting, lustrous, subtly colored cerussites came out in 2011 and was dispersed both within China and at the Munich show of that year. The owner of the find set back several dozen pieces, which he showed to me in May in the Changsha show. I bought three of them, for a combination of aesthetics and pristine condition. The subtle colors shift from beige through slightly amber and orange colored zones, making these crystals REALLY unique. Nothing like them was ever seen at this mine in association with the pyromorphite finds. And, I am told, no more of these have been found since early-2013. This specimen is a choice cluster, which splays horizontally and has a slight yellow tinge in the middle as well. Joe Budd photos.
