From the multigenerational Rolando and Bruno Gioia collection of Brazilian minerals comes this superb and unusual combination specimen of bright, golden-brown Eosphorite sprays associated with rhombs of brown Siderite on a contrasting snow-white matrix of altered Albite. The sprays of Eosphorite are quite large, up to 1.5 cm, and composed of well-formed, translucent, prismatic, bronze-brown crystals with nice chisel-point terminations and great luster. The Eosphorites are associated with numerous, brown, rhombohedrons of Siderite to 1.5 cm in length that occur in both groups and isolated crystals. These Eosphorites are classic and they are pristine and the association with the well-formed and numerous Siderite crystals on the white Albite and Quartz matrix that makes for an attractive, late stage pegmatite specimen from this classic Brazilian locality. It is unusual for the visual contrasts and presentation of all species here. Ex. Bruno Gioia family collection.
