From a single pocket at the Yaogangxian Mine comes this delicate rose blossom of Calcite. This find produced the most distinct rose-like specimens of pink tinged Calcite groups anyone has ever seen and this piece is from that distinctive pocket. Scores of thinly bladed, hexagonal Calcite crystals form concentric, ring-like aggregates from the outside in to produce this spectacular piece. These whitish Calcites are translucent at the edges and have the faintest pink tint making them almost ethereal. There is absolutely no damage to any of the "petals" which adds to extreme aesthetics of this surreal, flower-like piece. Exceptionally beautiful!
