Spessartine Garnet
North Mine, Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia
Miniature, 5.5 x 5.4 x 3.6 cm
Ex. Robert Sielecki
SOLD
A shockingly sparkly, plate of gem spessartine crystals from this locality. Most spessartine from BH is dark but this is light and colorful and shines with light. It is a rare style, and a flashy display specimen as well. Totally covering the display side of this massive garnet matrix, are glassy and gemmy, reddish orange spessartine crystals, to 5 mm across. Very minor wear to a few crystals is insignificant. Ex. Milton Lavers collection.
