Tennantite pseudo after Enargite with Malachite, Posnjakite
Tsumeb Mine, Otjikoto Region, Namibia
Miniature, 5.2 x 4.8 x 3.1 cm

This specimen represents an unusual combination of species. Tennantite has replaced enargite in terminated crystals, to 4 cm in length. A secondary deposition of malachite coats the whole specimen. Small crystals (marked with an arrow) of posnjakite are also present. It is a very interesting example of the weird mineralogy of Tsumeb, all in one piece!
